I've been using the "ugly" method of writing to "c:\temp" when I needed to create a temporary file of any sort. Create it, process it and then delete it works for me - up until now that is. One customer all of a sudden had problems creating this temporary file ...

A few month ago I started to test running virtual machines on my MacBook. Lotus Designer still needs Windows so after trying Parallells solution I stuck with VMware Fusion as it did seem more stable at the moment. So far it has been working brilliant and I'm running Windows 2003 ...
